In my QA activities for LibreOffice, I focus on three essential practices: bug reporting, bug triaging, and bibisect. When I encounter unexpected behavior, I create detailed bug reports so that issues become visible to developers and contributors. Clear and accurate reports are the first step toward resolving problems effectively. For bug triaging, I verify whether a reported issue can be reproduced, gather missing information, and check if it is already documented. I also help assign the right importance so developers know which problems should be addressed first. This step ensures that the bug tracker stays organized and useful. Finally, I use bibisect, a powerful tool that allows us to identify the exact commit where a regression was introduced. By narrowing down the source of a problem, developers can save time and focus directly on the fix. These activities help strengthen LibreOffice’s quality and reliability.
