Customize Key Components, Unleash Big Productivity!

I will introduce OSSII's development achievements in customization modules of Collabora Online and Nextcloud, and demonstrate how these customized features integrate with Nextcloud's advanced functionalities to create automated document workflow solutions. We will share the following research outcomes:

1. MergeODF: Commissioned by Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA), OSSII developed customized versions of Nextcloud and Collabora Online. The "mergeodf" functionality can parse variables in ODF templates and convert them into API documentation; in the other hand, it can receive external data and apply it to templates, outputting ODF documents.
2. Automated Workflow Integration: The live demonstration will showcase how to combine MergeODF with Nextcloud Tables and Flow to build a complete automated document generation pipeline. This includes retrieving data via Nextcloud Tables Restful API and creating low-code automation workflows through Nextcloud Flow / Windmill for seamless end-to-end document processing.

These customization solutions demonstrate the integration potential of the open source software ecosystem and provide a practically viable document automation architecture, suitable for community members interested in open source system integration.
